the inside story
It’s the principle of perfection that guides the process, from planning to completion, of each and every home office we build. You will find uncompromising quality in every detail of our home office’s construction and we simply wouldn’t have it any other way.
This perfectionist approach is not only expressed through our state-of-the-art technology, engineering and craftsmanship, but has also helped to make us one of Europe’s foremost home office design companies and the second oldest home office manufacturer in the UK.

perfect ingredients
Timber Frames: made from specially treated European Redwood grown in managed Scandinavian forests and finished with a specialist microporous paint for an extended maintenance-free life.
Hardwood Sill: also made from managed forestry and protected by a damp proof membrane.
Insulated Wall Panels: made from 40mm thick Phenolic foam insulation layered either side with 0.5mm pressed steel coated in Plastisol. This offers excellent thermal insulation in all weathers, zero maintenance and a smart leathergrain finish.
Insulated Roof Panels: also benefit from 45mm thick CFC-free insulation core sandwiched between a 0.5mm Plastisol exterior steel sheet and a 0.4mm inner steel liner. This again gives excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, it will also retain heat during winter.
Glazed Panels: we only use toughened self-cleaning Pilkington K glass. This unique insulating glass gives the thermal dynamics equivalent to triple glazing!
Flooring: every construction is finished internally with a floating, inter-locking water resistant chipboard floor. The floor is backed with 34mm laminated Styrofoam providing yet more thermal insulation. The surface comes covered with carpet tiles as standard.
Guttering: each building has an integral gutter system with downpipes at the back and on on each side. This keeps the water off the structure, especially the glass, which reduces the need for cleaning and further enhances the longevity of the home office.
making all the right connectionsSpotlights: the size of building dictates how many lights we install. This is discussed at the site meeting.
Power: a double switched socket is supplied to each corner of the building.
Consumer Unit: each electrical circuit within the building has its own trip switch that gives owners both safety and the ability to isolate circuits when required.
Telephone: most clients now use cordless telephones linked to the main dwelling. However we are able to fit telephone sockets as required, free of charge.
